With nothing left to lose Brendan makes it clear he will do anything to get what he wants--but unfortunately for him, so will Aviira.

Worse, as she and her new partner dig deeper into their suspect they find that in the time it has taken to find him, he has been a step ahead of them, an error that turns critical when they realize too late that the next victim on his list has been Aviira all along.
